Evaline Odiwuor, 26 : A mother of five. She has invited community health volunteers to her home to come check on her two boys, whom she suspects have malaria. She is a small-scale business owner, who sells vegetables in the market. Her business is constantly interrupted by her kids suffering from bouts of malaria. Often they get admitted in hospital to be with her sick kids.
The two boys she wants tested for malaria are Zakaria Ochieng – 6. And Brorence Omondi, 4. Zakaria tests positive for malaria and is treated. Two weeks ago, he had another bout. Brorence is okay for now.
