HIV; HIV; Outreach to MSM, testing, educationThe Wat Phnom Park is an MSM and TG pickup hotspot MSM appears be to quite accepted by the general public here. There are about 80 MSM/TG/EWs active here. Although the government sometimes clears the area of these activities when there is a conference or other event of importance being organized in the area. This afternoon health workers set up shop in the park, providing HIV and STI prevention information to those who are interested. The health volunteers are known in the MSM and TG community. The program is supported through the Global Fund and is called "M.Style" (MSM equivalent of "Smart Girl" for EWs and "Stay Strong" for TG). They are here three times a week for five hours each time. There is counselling and information is provided about HIV and STI prevention, and how to use condoms. On another bench HIV and syfilis tests can be taken. The last photos of this site visit is an educational session to a handful of people by three transgender health workers. Condoms and lubricants are given as well.Outreach activities in the park started back in 2002, the finger prick test was added is 2013.
