Jamporn, Host of migrant-language radio program on MAP Foundation station in her radio studio in the city of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. The Global Fund supports MAP Foundation’s work with migrants in and around Chiang Mai, Thailand. They reach people who work in construction, factories, agriculture, domestic labor and “entertainment” with a package of services aimed at community health and empowerment. HIV is the priority, with TB the secondary focus. They employ and equip migrant field officers, DJs and volunteers who can provide information, testing and screening services in migrant languages.
