Global Fund Executive Director Peter Sands visits the SMRU-Shwe Kout Ko TB/HIV clinic and rural malaria posts on the Myanmar-Thailand boarder. He spoke with SMRU staff, TB patients, village malaria volunteers and malaria post workers. The malaria work is supported by RAI. Patients/participants are primarily from migrant and/or ethnic minority communities with limited access to formal health care facilities.
