Akhi Chakma. She lives in a tiny village in Bangladesh’s rural Rangamati District, a malaria endemic area where malaria cases have fallen dramatically thanks to malaria control and prevention programs supported by the Global Fund partnership. She was treated for malaria and received a net to protect her from further infections.
