Doctors of the World has partnered with the Congolese organization, AED, and other local stakeholders in order to promote the health of street children, particularly girls and their babies. The program provides health education sessions to reduce the risk of HIV/AIDS, and inform the children of their right to contraception and protection. The program also provides basic healthcare consultations, directs at risk patients to HIV/AIDS screening and treatment, and conducts self-esteem workshops. There is also a clinic available for young girls living in the street which provides reproductive health services and psychological support for cases of sexual violence.; IMG_1044
