The Global Fund is calling on the world to step up the fight against HIV, TB and malaria. In October 2019, President Emmanuel Macron of France hosts the Global Fund’s Sixth Replenishment Conference. Peter Sands, Executive Director of the Global Fund, explains why this is the moment when we must step up the fight to end epidemics, or risk letting recent gains slip from our grasp. With a replenishment of at least US$14 billion, the Global Fund partnership will save 16 million lives, avert 234 million infections and help the world get on track to end these diseases.
